What does dermaplaning do?
Performed with a surgical scalpel, dermaplaning gently removes dead cells from the skin's surface layer along with the fine vellus hair on the face. The surface becomes smoother and better prepared for the treatments that follow. Makeup can also go on more smoothly and naturally. A common myth says that removing vellus hair makes it grow back thicker. It does not.
